Attackers increasingly log in rather than break in. Stolen passwords, MFA fatigue attacks, session token theft and forgotten accounts with excessive permissions give them a legitimate-looking route into email, cloud applications and administration consoles. Meanwhile identities keep multiplying: employees, contractors, service accounts, applications and API keys, each with permissions that tend to grow and rarely shrink.
ZERYON helps you bring identity under control. We assess how people and machines authenticate and what they can reach, roll out phishing-resistant MFA and passwordless where it makes sense, secure privileged access and harden your identity platform, with particular depth in Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory. Every change is planned to raise security without making daily work harder.
What's included
Identity security assessment
Review of your directory, authentication methods, conditional access, privileged roles, guest and service accounts, and joiner, mover and leaver processes.
MFA and passwordless
Deployment of strong authentication, including phishing-resistant methods such as FIDO2 security keys, passkeys and Windows Hello for Business, with a rollout plan that keeps users on board.
Privileged access management (PAM)
Just-in-time and just-enough administration, separate admin accounts, credential vaulting and session control for your most sensitive access.
Entra ID and Active Directory hardening
Conditional access policies, risk-based sign-in controls, Privileged Identity Management, tiered administration and remediation of common Active Directory attack paths.
Identity governance
Access reviews, role design and lifecycle automation, so that permissions follow people's real responsibilities and are removed when they leave.
How we work
Map
We inventory identities, authentication methods, privileges and access paths, including service accounts and third-party access.
Prioritise
We identify the routes an attacker would take, from a phished user to control of the domain or tenant, and rank fixes by risk and effort.
Roll out
We implement changes in phases, with pilot groups, clear user communication and fallback options to avoid lock-outs.
Govern
We set up access reviews, monitoring of risky sign-ins and metrics, so the model stays healthy as your organisation changes.
What you get
Fewer account takeovers
Authentication that resists phishing and credential theft for the people and systems that matter most.
Privilege under control
Administrative rights granted only when needed, for as long as needed, and fully traceable.
Smoother sign-in
Passwordless and single sign-on that make secure access easier, not harder.
Audit-ready access control
Documented policies and access reviews that support ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA and ENS requirements.
Who it's for
- Organisations on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID that want more security from the licences they already pay for.
- Companies that have suffered, or are worried about, compromised accounts or business email compromise.
- Teams with too many administrators, shared accounts or service accounts nobody owns.
- Businesses planning a move to passwordless or phishing-resistant MFA.
- Regulated entities that must demonstrate strong access control to auditors.
Frequently asked questions
What is identity and access management (IAM)?
IAM is the set of processes and technologies that ensure the right people and systems have the right access to the right resources at the right time. It covers the identity lifecycle, authentication, authorisation, privileged access and the reviews that keep permissions under control.
What is phishing-resistant MFA?
Multi-factor authentication that cannot be relayed or tricked by a fake sign-in page, because the credential is cryptographically bound to the legitimate site or device. FIDO2 security keys, passkeys, Windows Hello for Business and certificate-based authentication are common examples; SMS codes and simple push approvals are not.
Is passwordless authentication secure?
Done properly, it is more secure than passwords: there is no shared secret to steal, reuse or guess. The key is a careful rollout, with secure registration, recovery processes and fallback methods, which is where most of the planning goes.
What is PAM and do we need it?
Privileged access management protects the accounts that can change systems, read sensitive data or switch off security. If you have administrators, service accounts or third parties with elevated access, as almost every organisation does, you need some form of PAM, from native features such as Entra Privileged Identity Management to a dedicated platform.
What is an MFA fatigue attack?
A technique in which an attacker who already has a password triggers repeated push notifications until the user approves one by mistake. Number matching, phishing-resistant methods and conditional access greatly reduce this risk.
